We're a small team of engineers who love communities as much as you do. The platform is modern, fast, mobile-first, and privacy-respecting by default.
When Amino began winding down, the communities built on it had nowhere to go that felt like home. Aminoka is our answer: a place where a community keeps its own identity, its own chat rooms, its own wall and its own leaders, instead of being flattened into one global feed.
Create or join a community, post to its wall, run polls, talk in public chat rooms or private messages, build a character library for roleplay, and keep a per-community profile. Every account gets a separate identity in each community it joins — your global account is never exposed inside a community, which is a deliberate part of how we handle privacy.
Aminoka is free to use. There is no subscription and nothing in the app can be bought with real money. We cover hosting costs with advertising shown on our public pages — this About page, the homepage and the blog. The signed-in application carries no advertising, and we never place ads beside member-created content. Aminoka hosts user-generated content, and we take responsibility for it. Every post, comment, message and profile can be reported from inside the app, and reports land in a moderation queue that our team reviews. Community leaders moderate their own spaces, and we operate platform-level enforcement on top of that — content removal, NSFW gating, and account restrictions where our <a href="/terms">Terms of Service</a> are broken.
Content marked as adult is gated behind an age-appropriate setting and is never shown on our public pages or to signed-out visitors. Sexually explicit material involving minors is forbidden without exception and is reported to the relevant authorities.
