Remove your Aminoka account

We're sorry to see you go

If Aminoka let you down, we're truly sorry. You deserved better, and we'd genuinely like to know what went wrong.

This is your account and your decision. You don't owe anyone an explanation, and whatever you choose, we'll respect it completely.

If you're leaving because of something you read about Aminoka online: some campaigns aimed at our community don't reflect what actually happens here. If you'd like an honest answer before you go, write to hello@aminoka.app and a real person will reply. Either way, the choice stays yours.

Remove your account by email

We email a confirmation link to this address if it belongs to an Aminoka account. Nothing is removed until you open the link and confirm.

Or from the app

  • In the app (iOS or Android) or on aminoka.com: open Settings, then Delete account, and confirm.
  • Can't access that email any more? Write to privacy@aminoka.app from any address with your username and we'll help you within 30 days.

Removal is immediate once confirmed, signs you out on every device and cannot be undone.

What is erased

  • Your profile and personal details: name, avatar, cover, bio, links, interests, age, gender and country, on your main profile and on every community profile.
  • Your sign-in methods (email, password, Google or Apple link) and your devices' push-notification tokens.

What is anonymised

Posts, comments and messages you published stay in place so that conversations remain readable, but they are no longer linked to an identifiable profile and appear under "Deleted User".

What is kept, and for how long

French law (Article 6 of the LCEN and decree n° 2021-1362) requires us to keep, for one year, the data that identify the author of published content so it can be provided to judicial authorities on request: your original email address, name, sign-in identifiers and connection records (IP addresses). They are held in a restricted store, never shown in the Service, and permanently erased after one year. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
